Dachshund Inspiration: Gunda Krauss and Sauser

It's been a great week for new Dachshund videos; we hope you all have enjoyed them as much as we have.  To finish the week off, to get you through your Friday, we present a little Dachshund Inspiration - the story of Gunda Krauss and her wirehair Dachshund 'Saucer.'   The story is a few years old, but the video interview is new and was just posted by youtuber GreenCityeV:  In 2009, Gunda Krauss cycled 1000km from Munich to Rügen, Germany's largest island located in the Baltic sea.
At the age of 70, and despite irreparable hip problems, Gunda Krauss decided to cross Germany from south to north on her pedelec tricycle. It took her about 50 days to cycle more than 1000 kilometres accompanied by her 15 years old dachshund Sauser, who sat in the bicycle basket.
The Munich based environmental organisation Green City e.V. helped her organize the trip and supported her during the travel.
For more information please visit her blog: Gunda Krauss

Now, you can do anything you set your heart to.
