We're sure that you remember handsome little 'Portillo' the Wiener Dog via Modern Doxie Chat a few months back in March.  His human, Greg Miller, has a new format for his vlog show, and thankfully, Portillo makes frequent appearances.   In this episode, we get to learn all about the little guy.

Wiener 500

Ninety-six Dachshunds sprinted down a track outside the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in a series of races to raise money for the Washington Humane Society on Saturday in Washington DC.
The 2nd Annual Wiener 500 Dachshund Dash, organized by OnTap Magazine, was expected to raise more than $2,000, according to event officials.
After a brief rain delay, a dog named 'Pumpkin' won the final race and was crowned champion.  Way to go Pumpkin!  Via the GW Hatchett.

Caught Live On Camera! Amazing Wiener Dog Rescue - L.A. City Lifeguards and L.A. Port Police

It's riveting, and we LOVE it, so hold on to your seats Wiener Dog Fans.  Via youtuber Frank Meza:

At 1900 hrs Los Angeles City Lifeguards were called to assist Los Angeles Port Police with a wiener dog that jumped over the dock and owner was unable to reach underneath the docks. LA Lifeguards were more than happy to lend a helping hand! Lifeguard Acosta entered the 58º water at LA Harbor and successfully executed a modified rescue tow!
