Dachshunds in Pop Culture: Anne Vernon

Who? Dachshund Lover Anne Vernon, who was born Edith Antoinette Alexandrine Vignaud, is a French actress, painter and writer. Born in Saint-Denis, France, on January 24, 1925, she appeared in almost 50 film and television productions.
Following graduation from the Paris Ecole des Beaux Arts, she worked as a model and then had an apprenticeship in advertising design. As an actress, Vernon played leading roles in light French films from the late '40s through the late '60s. She also occasionally appeared in British, American, and Italian films.
Miss Vernon was the subject of a 1980 French TV film detailing her work in painting, Les Peintres Enchanteurs. Her pseudonym is F.M.R., and her paintings have been in various exhibitions in Paris. She also authored French cookbooks in the late '70s.
Unfortunately, we don't know the name of her red smooth dachshund. Find out more about Anne Vernon at The Internet Movie Database.
