I'm sorry but I don't get how this is the world's oldest dog. The world's oldest living dog maybe but I know of at least one dog that lived to over 20. Dog is cute, though.

Great Scott! That IS an old dog (hm, a Museum post on dog lifespans in the making?). The oldest animal I ever met was a 20-year-old cat; he was so old I had to remind him to eat.

*ahem* I mean oldest mammal type pet animal. I've met tortoises and parrots.

I've just got to say it: that doggie reminds me so much of my great aunt Jean, our oldest family member. The cute little face, one bad eye, festive sweater. It's all there. Adorable! Umm, both Jean and Chanel.
