Dachshund Mix Missing For Six Months Turns Up At Adoption Event

We always love a good doggie reunion story.  It just goes to show that you can never give up hope. Here, an 11-year-old Dachshund Mix named 'Tinkerbell' from Rocky Mount, Virginia, goes astray and ends up missing for 6 months.  She was finally found some 70 miles from her home and reunited with her family by surprise at an adoption event!  Via WCSH.

A sweet tale but a couple of questions unanswered 1 How did she disappear? 2 Was she micro-chipped? Probably not, because a rescue would have a vet look for one before adopting out a dog.Of course, sometimes if a chip is awkwardly placed ,it can sometimes be hard to scan.

We always love a story with a happy ending. They are VERY lucky to have gotten the dog back.
