Our dear friend Melinda from downtown Chicago, Illinois lost her beloved 4-year-old Dachshund rescue 'Jeeves' just last week. He was quite a handsome boy - he had a beautiful deep red color and an amazing Roman nose - the likes of which we rarely see. Like any good Dachshund, that nose had a penchant for trouble, but his heart had a penchant for love. Our heart goes out to Melinda and her friends and family who were lucky enough to know Jeeves well.
Oh no! I live in Chicago too, I'll keep a look out :(
Deepest condolences to Melinda. Jeeves looks so handsome in the picture, and we're sure that he brought so much joy and love into their home along with such beauty. He will always be in your hearts.
I'm so sorry for your devastating loss. Having been through the same recently, my deepest sympathies are with you.
Sending love from Arkansas... <3
He is gorgeous. I am so sorry, so sorry. The pain is so great.
Thank you, Joey and Maggie and, of course, Carson for the wonderful remembrance of Jeeves. This photo was taken on the very first day I got him. He was a little jittery for the long ride home but once he got in the door he leapt on the bed and engaged in a major hug and kiss fest. Then we had our first photo session. Lots of good memories--many include you J, M and C!
Melinda and, in spirit, Jeeves
Jeeves was splendid. We were lucky to know him. <3
