It's education day at The Long and Short of it All.  We've wanted to share this fantastic dictionary synopsis of the Dachshund for the longest time.  This was the back cover of the May, 1967 issue of the American Dachshund magazine.  Dachshund 101, indeed; wikipedia ain't got nothin' on this masterpiece.
