The Dogfather

Petco is taking submissions for it's latest contest where you can submit a video or essay explaining why you're a great pet parent, and you can win $50,000 plus $50,000 for the Rescue organization of your choice.
Here's a nice entry for Dachshund Lovers.

Absolutely Wonderful!!! The world needs many more people like him. His dogs are adorable and loved and that is what counts. I hope he and the pack win this contest!

Want a definition of love? There you have it. My heart swells with these stories. I wish all Dachsies had a home like this. I need to get another one I think.

Rowdy, Bette & Carson,

Thanks for sharing this amazing video with everyone. Accepting, loving & celebrating these four special souls, as different as they are, makes Dave a very special Dogfather.

And witnessing the tenderness & caring the ladies treat each other with is just a beautiful & inspiration thing to see.

Another example of why it's great to have TLASOIA back!

I had to tell my vet, groomer and son-in-law about Dave and his love for these wonderful wieners. What a beautiful family they make!

I had to stop this video three times for an eye wipe and a nose blow! What a man! We have a little rescue doxie and he is getting more and more confident as the years go on he will never be jazz hands but to me he is perfection.

I and my doxies love this :) we are glad no one gives up on any doxies. For Snickers to be carried on walks and included really means a lot to me. Thanks
