Killer The Dachshund Immortalized As Hot Dog Kids' Meal

We're sure that you remember the story of 'Killer,' the Danville, Virginia Dachshund who was shot and killed by a police officer in June?  It was one of the largest Dachshund and dog stories across the nation this year, but fear not, Killer is not going unremembered.  His human Dad is apparently quite the entrepreneur, and besides his beauty salon and car wash, he recently opened up a new restaurant called Road House Surf & Turf.  The kids' meals are named after family members and loved ones, and we're betting you can't go wrong with the "Killerz Dog" hot dog meal.  Look 'em up next time you're in Virginia.  Source.

This will be the first Christmas in 11 years the family will have without their little pup Killer sharing it with them. Hope the family has a good Christmas and that Killer's place on the tree will still be there for him to look down and see from the Rainbow Bridge. Merry Christmas PS: The killerzdogs for kids is a wonderful tribute to Killer the Dachshund.
