Seeing this picture of the vintage Dachshund beauty made me realize that there is an observation I've made, but never recognized I had.
Some Dachshunds have this stately characteristic, some don't. The look. An air about them. An expression that says, "I am royalty. This is my kingdom. You are my subject."
This beauty definitely has the look, as does my "grandwiener." Mine, on the other hand, is a see-right-through, play with me puddle!
