You Stole My Heart, But I Love You Anyway

The details are all a bit sordid, but Maggie is still recovering from her recent bout of pancreatitis.  She had a serious relapse yesterday afternoon and spent the night and day at the emergency vet's, but just came home and is doing well - good appetite, no vomiting, got a mostly formed stool.  This is the best she's been all week.
We could talk about ultrasounds, blood work, diet, and med regimens, but we'd really rather just sing - because all she does is wreck our bed, and in the morning kick us in the head.  And that's why we're so glad to have her home.  Thanks again for all the love and support.

As you are wrecking the bed and kicking your loved ones in the head, Maggie, they are probably thinking: What's a little sleep deprivation when we're fighting a fierce battle for the one we love? You are sooooo loved! Don't forget to give them some snuggles and kisses too!

Jeeves and I are so glad that Maggie is doing better and right now. Her dad has such great taste in music, that will certainly help everyone get through this. Prayers, hugs, licks (from Jeeves) and kisses to all form Melinda and the Coy Boy.

Maggie, we have had our stubby lil toes crossed for you, and we've been wagging our tails extra hard just in case that might help too. Well, maybe it all has helped, because we're glad to know you're back at home.

So glad to hear this good news! We'll hope to see you at Bark in the Park this year - it may be a bit much for Joey and Maggie, but I am thinking about getting a red wagon so that Molly can come this year and ride in style! Maybe we could have a "wagon train"...

Normally, I don't like it when Mom sings, but today--I'm kind of liking this song she's singing along with about Maggie! Be a good girl and get well soon! There are so many things outdoors that need to be sniffed and sniffed again (and again). Much love and ladylike kisses from Mina (mini-dox ruler of the neighborhood) in Michigan.
