Reading to Sandy

Isabel Handa, 8, reads to Sheila Weiss’s Dachshund, 'Sandy,' 14, Saturday as part of the Westport Public Library’s Reading to Rover program in Westport, Connecticut. There were 18 dogs and 72 children involved in the day’s program in which children have a chance to read for 15 minutes to dogs to improve their reading skills.  Source:  Phyllis Groner for WestportNow.
