The Longing Eyes of a Puppy Mill Dachshund

"Number 23" peeks out from within a sheltered cage at Angels of Assisi in Roanoke, Virginia. Number 23 is one of 63 dogs seized from a Hillsville kennel. What a heartbreaking picture, and what a selfish puppy mill owner. I have no polite way to tell how I think people like that should be treated!!

As much as we like to blame the operators of these horrendous mills, the consumer shares the blame.
