Our Friend Frankie The Walk 'n Roll Dog

Our hearts go out to human Barbara Techel and the family and friends of the busiest Dachshund we ever knew, Frankie The Walk'n Roll Dog.  Frankie, therapy dog and subject of the Walk'n Roll Dog book series, passed away yesterday at home in her mother's arms after being diagnosed with chronic heart failure just last Friday.  With the help of her mom, Frankie inspired thousands with her messages of overcoming challenges and making a difference despite obstacles.  Although Frankie is no longer with us, we know that her messages of hope will live on for generations.

Please visit Joyful Paws to read of her life and of her passing.

Barbara and John are in our hearts, and Frankie will be so missed. This past spring, he sent me his special magnets, and I've been sitting in front of the fridge, looking at his magnets, and sending love to Frankie and his family. Thank you so much for posting this memorial.
Love,
Tootsie

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Barbara and John on the passing of their beloved Frankie. How wonderful a life he led and his inspiration to helping others to focus on the "I can" and not the "I can't".

Sorry to hear of the Passing of Frankie, however, this is inspirational to me, as this past weekend, our 5 year old/young dachshund has sufferend a spinal cord injury. Praying for a recovery, but I know what options I have available to push on to the future!
