Check out this little gem. After we helped with the rescue and transport of 'Maggie' and 'Gertie' for MWDR a little over a week ago, we stopped by a garden center on our way home which was right near the veterinary hospital we dropped the little sweeties off at.As we're pulling in to park, the only open spot was in front of their concrete statue collection, and, doing a double-take, our eyes zoomed immediately towards this big girl sitting on top of a table, just staring at us. We got out of the car to take a closer look, and we thought at first the tag read $129.99, as it's a pretty big piece, as big as Joey, (it even LOOKS like Joey) and it weighs about 70 pounds. Looking again, we saw it was just $29.99. SNAP, we paid for it,and into the car it went.
Her name is 'Mertie' in honor of those 2 little rescues. Still haven't found the perfect place for her, but we're sure the neighbors will love her!

It was in Mokena, Illinois at a place called Melka Landscaping & Garden Center. It was the only one that they had. Maybe if you give them a call, they could order one for you? Good Luck!
