Dachshunds in History: Special Delivery

Dachshund puppies which arrived in Los Angeles by jet from Munich, Germany, were pampered by Cargo Representative Filipe Villaneuva, says Pan Am Airways. Destined for Pacific Palisades, California, the pups made the trip in 11 hours.

That is a long ways for a dachshund to travel! I love the vintage picture. The puppy looks very uncertain though =/

Thanks Sean! It was a little tiny picture in the old magazine, just about 1/2 x 1 inch, but it was so nice. It scanned pretty well, considering.
