I wanted to add this should be the anthem for every rescued dog, whether dachsie or not. "It's not about your scars; it's all about your heart".

We're trying (without much success)to not be nudges, but we are Dachshunds, for goodness sake, and we've been known to be a little impatient, and some (humans?) would even suggest a just a trifle needy!
Trust all is well with the Bording's in Chicago, although our view from here, slightly southwest of beautiful Philadelphia, PA, is somewhat obscured. After all we're less than 6 inches tall!
