Bless you for sharing your life with your beautiful dachshund and your other K9s! Your video wrenched my heart...how sweetly the other K9s waited with him as his life ebbed away! Baron (my long haired tweenie) and I send you love and hugs as you grieve for your furry friend!
Writing through tears after watching that touching tribute to a beloved companion. Rest in peace, Phantom, and condolences to those, both human and animal, he left behind.
Barney's mom said....(writing through tears too)...I see Barney in Phantom, the same sweet old face, splayed legs, the stumble, and the love for life in his eyes. Barney just turned 16 in June, and facing the reality is difficult. Rest in Peace little darling, and a big hug to his family. He was a lucky baby.
I cried watching this video. I have a 14 years old dachshund that is still healthy, but I know there are not many years left for her. I dread the day I'll lose her. I love her so much! She's been with me since I was 13, the first dog I've had. The best friend I've ever had.
Sorry for your loss of Phantom. He will be missed by his canine friends too. RIP little guy.

ReplyDeleteRest in Peace Phantom. Good Dog.
ReplyDeleteThe tribute to Phantom was so moving. I too have lost my sweet Watson at 13. It brought tears to my eyes which my Spaatzie was happy to kiss away

That was beautiful. Phantom had a deeply loving pack. I'm glad his person shared this tribute with us. Peace.
