BAD DOGS!

Do you think your sweet, lovable little Dachshunds are blessed angels sent from heaven?  Better think again.  Find out what they do when you're not looking....

  1. Food thief?

I prefer "advanced problem solver"....and nice leading ability for a doxie!

  2. I had absolutely no idea a dachshund could jump as high as the dachsie in the first video! Baron can barely make it on the sofa with my help...perhaps that's a good thing. I don't have food in the cabinets at floor level however the new bag of his food is stored on the floor of the bathroom closet...he's never bothered it!

  3. I am both shocked and appalled at such dachshund behavior! The last time I found Turbo with a pilfered bag of dog treats, the bag was EMPTY. That's one sneaky Pete there. But he better go back and close the cabinet door!

  4. jumping from such a height could break their bones, and is likely to cause back problems if it is allowed to continue:(

  5. I'm the owner of the jumping dachs and I must say that he uses drawer handles to get to on top, otherwise he wouldn't make it. And as for jumping being bad for him then I agree but he has been jumping and climbing things since I got him and if I block one area of the house he will find another place where to jump and climb so that is just the way he is.

  6. We call ours 'the little mountain goat' for the same reason:) They love jumping. We put a little soft mat at the foot of our couch for a landing pad.
