Maggie's Corner: Shopping For Dachshunds

Thanks for all the inquiries on 'Maggie,' your 'Long and Short of it All' hostess.  She continues to do well after her recent serious bout of pancreatitis.  She started back on her medications for Cushing's last week, and the pancreatitis has not returned.  She's got a great appetite, nicely formed stools, and she's a happy gal.
So happy in fact, that she's heard that Dad might get some money back on his taxes, so she's been scouring all her sources for some new Dachshund paraphernalia.  Here are the highlights of her recent finds.
Above - got a bad Dachshund in the house?  No wait - we're all just ANGELS!!  You might like this new urban design from Bad Dogz Apparel - because you gotta represent.  The t-shirt is just $15, and Dad actually picked one up at this year's International Kennel Club of Chicago Dog Show.  Very nice. Find the design on more than just t-shirts at Bad Dogz Apparel.

If you need a new ink pen, or are looking for a colorful addition to someone's Easter Basket, you can't go wrong with these Dachshund Jingle Pens available from Pet My Wiener:  Delightful stylish dog pens to impress your friends with!!!  Dachshund pen with bell collar that Jingle's when you write. It's shaped like a Dachshund and comes in 4 fun colors to choose from: Silver, Black, Orange and Blue.  $5.95.
Find purple, green, or brown at U Silly Goose.

And finally, let everyone know you're a Dachshund lover before they even enter your home with this welcoming "BONE JOUR" door mat.  A friend of ours actually saw this in a retail store, but it's available through Amazon for just $15.99:  Our Classic line of Absolutely Floored! coir welcome mats are made from a renewable resource, coconut husks. Coir mats are made from environmentally friendly and naturally touch coconut fibers. No deforestation takes place and the coconuts are continuously being reproduced. Our vinyl backing is made of up to 25% post-industrial waste. Perfect for the dog lover! 20"x 30"
This is a higher quality mat - the image is not just "painted on."

I bought Baron a really nice harness from Noodles, made especially to protect the doxie neck...it lasted a long time (2 years) until he finished eating through one of the straps!

I'm always looking for interesting Dachshund gear...BTW love the pens with bells...so will check your suggestions out Maggie!

    Love from Theanne and Baron
