Keep Warm This Winter With Your Own Dachshund Flannel Sheets!

Wake us up in May, will ya?  Personally speaking, we find nothing as warm and comforting as snuggling up to our human in some soft flannel sheets on a cold winter's night - the only thing that could make it better is finding some flannel sheets with a Dachshund print - and our wish has been granted!
Thanks so much to our pals 'Sookie' and 'Bill' for sending in a link to The Company Store's exclusive Dog Run Flannel Bedding - and you can also score a matching flannel duvet cover and pillow shams while you're there.  Sookie and Bill write:

Dear Joey and Maggie,

We were looking for some warm flannel sheets because the winter has been cold, even down south here in Atlanta, Georgia.  When we found these Dachshund sheets (on sale no less), we knew we had to tell you about them!

Bill (left) and Sookie are just 4-months-old, aren't they cute?  And they have great taste in bedding!

Joey 'n Maggie's tips:
1.  See more photos of Bill and Sookie over at flickr.  It'll make your Monday.
2.  Try using code WM10 at The Company Store to save 20% on your order - worked for us this morning.  EMAIL20 may also work.
3.  We checked with customer service - the Dachshund pillow on the bed is no longer available, it has sold out.

  1. your little dachie babies are not only cute but we love their harnesses too. We live in Quebec Canada where it goes down to minus 40 with the wind factor. Yep, we sure do snuggle up to mom for a nice warm sleep, (mom appreciates us keeping her warm too). We will keep our eyes open to see if they sell these flannals in Quebec. cheers from 4 dachies from cold wintery Quebec, Canada
PS: Wear warm winter clothing to keep your little bodies and bellies warm from the snow. Mom makes us little paths to walk in as the snow is up to her butt emagine us trying to walk through that:) LOL

  2. I LOVE the harnesses!! Where did you get them?

Also...I'm such a sucker. I bought the flannel sheets and even the duvet cover. I hope Joey and Maggie don't show us anymore dachshund goodies for a while (says my poor bank account).

  3. I would love to know about the harnesses also.

I just bought the flat sheet. My 3 weiners, MacLeod, Merlin & Roux would have anything white turn brown in two nights. Little diggers all.

Thanks so much for your great blog.

  4. Hi this is Sookie and Bill's owner, Chriseda. Thank you so much for the nice compliments about our pups. They are both sweet and very loving, and boy, they can be a lot of work!

We got the harnesses from Annie's Sweatshop on Etsy:

    http://www.etsy.com/shop/anniessweatshop?ga_search_query=annie%27s+sweatshop&ga_search_type=seller_usernames

She specializes in leashes, collars, harnesses, beds and winter coats for dachshunds. I have read that the harnesses are better for wiener dog's long backs, and Annie's soft cloth ones don't rub their fur like the ones from the pet stores do. Plus, they just look darn cute!

  5. Hi, its us again from Quebec, Canada. We love those harnesses too. We have the same harnesses made by a volunteer for Dachshund Rescue of Houston Texas. Her name is Judy Spring and all proceeds she makes goes to the Rescue Group (cool huh?). Our harnesses are also made from light material that lets the skin breath (its hot in Texas) and they are very well made too. Our mom and Judy are now cyberspace friends and keep contact. Judy also makes snuggle pouches. Her e-mail is: jlspring103@earthlink.net
And yes mom says the vets recommend harnesses more than collars that pull when walking on leash as disks in the neck part can rupture too. Bark to ya all later!!

  6. Thanks for the information on the harnesses. My dog has IVDD, so no more collars for her. And she's from Texas originally, so I know she'll feel right at home with Judy's harnesses. I'll look up the harnesses on itsy, too. (Bill and Sookie are gorgeous, by the way!)

  7. It's been a couple of days since I read this post, and I tried so very hard to resist ordering these flannel dachshund sheets, but this morning I caved. Thanks for this tip, Joey and Maggie!

  8. Very disappointed I have been looking for these sheets for over a year now and every time I check on the company store website the sheets can not be found. So why do they advertise these sheets if they don't have them. Not happy that this sight is so misleading for its customers!!!
