Dachshund Mix 'Otto,' Title Holder For World's Oldest Dog, Passes

We're sad to report that 'Otto,' the Dachshund mix who hailed from Shropshire, England, has been put to sleep after being diagnosed with stomach cancer.  Otto was a month shy of his 21st birthday, and was the oldest dog in the world according to Guinness World Records.  Excerpt from The Shropshire Star:

Otto's human Mrs. Jones today said: “I’m devastated. I’ve had Otto since he was six weeks old.
“He hasn’t been well since just before Christmas. We thought it was a stomach ulcer but it was confirmed yesterday that it was stomach cancer. He’s had a wonderful life. He couldn’t have had a better one. He’s like the son I never had.”

Our hearts go out to Otto's family and friends.
