How Hydrotherapy Saved Pepper the Disabled Dachshund

Go 'Pepper' Go! If you need some Dachshund inspiration today, look no further than this 7-year-old smooth black and tan from Colchester, Essex, England. After spinal surgery, she still couldn't walk, as her muscles had wasted away, and her vet suggested euthanasia (huh?!). Her human, Joy Bloyce, wouldn't accept that and turned to hydrotherapy. We're happy to report that Pepper is walking again. Read all about it and see some nice pics at The Daily Mail.

Learn about dachshunds and Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) at Dodger's List. What a great resource. There's always a link to Dodger's List in the links column on your right. They have a very active discussion list, and are real pros when it comes to offering advice for IVDD dachshunds and general dachshund health.
