A Birthday Note from Joey and Maggie: We Turn Ten Years Old Today

Honestly, we weren't quite sure that we would both make our 10th Birthday today.  2010 was a really tough year for both of us littermates, especially 'Joey,' as regular readers of The Long and Short of it All know.  This is a special day.  Thanks again for all your love and support, and here's to turning 11 in 2011!

    I can not even express you special it was to be at Wiener Wonderland with you Joey and Maggie as the Headline picture with santa was taken. If you are not the Dachshund family of all time I do not really know you is. No slight internded to anyone else especially Santo whose Timmy has had back issues prayed over. My own Ozzie was struck with a painful back issue just a few weeks ago but so thankful that he has reponded very well to crate rest and medication.
    MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARSON JOEY AND MAGGIE. I am SOOOO happy for all of you.
