Thankfully no one was injured yesterday in Woodbury, Minnesota when Dick Coerber smashed his car into a liquor store. Apparently his Dachshund jumped from his wife's lap onto the accelerator, sending the car crashing into the store. Watch the news video at KSTP.
Get your Hold-A-Dox Harness at Dachshund Delights. Available in many colors in mesh (as shown), or pick your own fabric. We love ours; it's also a walking harness. Harnesses ship for free if ordered by July 31st, 2010. This is a savings of $4.95-$10.95, depending on number of harnesses ordered.
Great idea! I always worry about my babies when I'm driving..they are all over the place!
ReplyDeleteYikes! Peaches and Piper have seatbelts and booster seats!
ReplyDeleteYikes! My doxie is a great traveler, but I had a cat who did that and after that she was kept in a carrier in the car.
ReplyDeleteMom can never find these hug-a-harness in Ottawa/Gatineau area in Canada.Mom had our walking harnesses (3 each) in a light material made to measure from Texas. They look almost like the one featured. Mom got them made from Judy Spring a volunteer for DROH Texas who donates the money she makes to Dachshund Rescue of Huston. Mom says we get good harnesses and also we get to help other dachshunds in rescue in the USA. Mom and her keep in touch by e-mail so we are going to ask Judy to make us 4 dachies our own hug-a-harness for the back seat of mom's dog mobile(Oops,I mean our car). Cheers from Sass the Bold, LollyPop Wiggle Butt, Shilo Baby Bean and Maggie Muffin in Quebec Canada
ReplyDeleteTHANKS, Maggie & Joey! We wear seatbelts - our dogs should, too! Just a note to the Canadian mom: Our harnesses are custom-made on order. We do have them in some pet boutique stores in the US, but mostly we retail through our website. That way you get the best fit for your dog. We work extensively with dachshund rescues, including donating used Hug-A-Dogs. We also guarantee our workmanship, and we have invested greatly in developing the safety features of our harness.
