This is a beautiful event in a tragic story. This little pup gets a loving home, and the owners are showered with the heartfelt blessings and regards of total strangers. We are on this earth to assist each other through every situation, to cry and rejoice together. This is the best way to start any day!
Wow! I can't believe the kind of cruel heart it would take to kill a protective dachshund with a hammer. I'm glad the kid is being charged as an adult. Animal abuse is only one step away from crimes against humans.
I'm glad the family has a new addition...best of luck with potty training!
I agree it's a wonderful gesture--but that pup is way too young to be away from it's mother. I hope it gets the all important early socialization from somewhere because it should be getting it from its littermates and Mom! They only needed to wait three more weeks... Roberta

FIVE WEEKS OLD!!!!??????? Oh my no. Way too young! I guess it's a nice effort but I wish stupid people wouldn't breed their dogs.
