Thanks so much to Sandra O. for writing in with these great photos and a nice story about the Dachshunds who own her. And they've got their very own blog, so update your bookmarks and check them out every day at the fantastic Tales From A Doxie. Without any further ado:
Hi Joey and Maggie!
I recently discovered your blog and I was so excited to see that it was about dachshunds. I also have some dachshunds in my family: Flash (black and tan mini who is 8yrs old), Alven (red standard long haired who is 1.5yrs old) and I also count Dottie who is a 6 month old lab/corgi/dachshund mix (hey as long as there's some doxie in there, right?).
All of my three dachshunds are rescues, but the first one that came home with me was Flash. I fell so in love with him that I made him his own blog too. When Flash first started his blog, with my assistance, I thought everyone would think I was missing a couple of marbles. In order to feel less self-conscious about it I told myself it was just a fun way to keep the family updated on how he was doing, but secretly I loved putting up new posts. Now that I've discovered there is a whole world of other doxie bloggers I am thrilled to know I'm not alone.
