This was the scene on Easter Sunday in Forte Greene, Brooklyn, New York, when members of the Fort Greene Dachshund Society for Social Action got together to raise money and awareness for Dachshund Rescue of North America. Children in the area were delighted to lavish attention on the dogs and, perhaps in the spirit of the Easter holiday, crammed dollars into a collection cup nearby.
