Red piebald 'Sam,' and his human Christopher Marlowe had a portrait painted yesterday at the first Pooch Party at Spencer's Restaurant in Palm Springs, California, by artist Chris Davis. On the other side of the country, Marian Van Landingham sits in her river view studio with one of her pet dachshunds, red longhair 'Spike.'
