Dachshunds in Pop Culture: Lady Ernest St. Maur

Who? Dora Constable, right, with dachshund, was a member of the English Royal Family. She married Lord Ernest St. Maur, son of Algernon Percy Banks St. Maur, and the 14th Duke of Somerset. Her married name became St. Maur.
This 'Society Walk' photo was taken in 1913, and she is pictured with Lady Georgina Agar, left, as they walk through Hyde Park, London.
This is nice documentation of how dachshunds looked about 100 years ago.

  1. One of these days, you might want to look into Oliver Stone's JFK movie. Jack Ruby owned dachshunds, and Stone's group called me when they were in Dallas filming scenes for their Carousel Club shots. My b/t smooth standard, Gusto (Ch. Gingerbred's Black In A Flash, CG) was in the shots from there.

Not sure how that'd work on Blogger, but it might be something for you to look into.
