God Bless 'Happy Feet.' The poor girl was born without front legs, but she's going to get a chance at life. A breeder recommended that she be put down, but her family and PAWS of Northeast Ohio are searching for other options. See the video at myfoxcleveland. Contact PAWS to adopt the beautiful girl. Thanks as always to Jerry S. for the link.
Oh, goodness. What a beauty. Any updates?

I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful dog at an in home visit at my home back in November 2007 conducted by the PAWS of Ohio Organization. I was very interested in adopting her and even expressed to them that I would like any funds collected, etc. for the animal to go back to the PAWS Organization since I was very financially stable and willing to take on all costs and burdens associated with a hadicapped dog. To date, I have heard nothing back from their Organization and was terribly disappointed to learn that the dog was found a new home via their internet web page. I would hope in the future that organizations such as theirs would be kind enough to follow-up with their applicants, espicially those whom they do an in-home visit with and let them know whether or not the animal would be given to them to join their family. It is such a shame that you wait and wait to hear something, and never hear back.
